Adopting a rescue dog is wonderful way to find your next furry family member. All of our dogs are in foster care; that is, living in with our wonderful volunteers and their families, not in a shelter. Most of our dogs have had a great start to life, or have been well rehabilitated, and received thier basic training and exposure to the world while in foster care.
We endeavour to individually match each person or family with the perfect dog or puppy to ensure it is the final and permanent home for the dog, the right fit for their new family, and everyone is happy.
To adopt a dog from us, please complete the below adoption form. This will go straight to our wonderful adoption girls, who will get back in touch with you within 24-48 hours. Please note they are volunteers, and as such, in peak times or on occasion with popular dogs/pups, it may take up to 72 hours.
The next part of the process is to have a phone interview with the foster carer of the particular dog, to see if it will be a good fit, and ask any questions you may have.
Before dogs are placed in their forever homes, we either request some photos of your yard/shelter/where the dogs will sleep etc, or for a nearby volunteer to come around and perform a quick home check.
This again, is to ensure the safety and happy forever lives of our dogs being adopted out. You do have the option to upload these photos with the form below, which may expedite your application.
We can transport dogs to most places in Australia, via commercial road or air transport. So please don’t let the location of a dog that has stolen your heart, deter you. We aim to make everything work!
